The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while performing repairs and maintenance on trucks as per repair order instructions within the service department. They will also oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to them, promoting a positive and productive team environment.

  • This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $65,000-$90,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of the role in providing top-notch service to our clients.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Job Description
  • Performing work as per the repair order instructions, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard;
  • Advising the workshop foreman of any additional work required;
  • Documenting all work performed, including cause and correction, and recommending any work not carried out during service and repair;
  • Ensuring the customer vehicle is left in its original condition, including cleanliness and adjustments;
  • Supervising apprentices and promoting a safe working environment;
  • Communicating effectively with the parts department to obtain needed parts;
  • Attending dealership and service department meetings and online training when requested;
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workshop area.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A trade certificate in a relevant field;
  • Drivers licenses equivalent to the role, including car, light duty, truck, and agricultural licenses;
  • Technical knowledge as per your qualification specifications;
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional service across all channels;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others;
  • Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to accomplish objectives effectively within given time frames.
