We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our state-of-the-art workshop in Wacol. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting after-market accessories, performing minor repairs and rectification, conducting quality checks, and learning about various diesel engines and on-highway machinery.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced workshop environment, with assigned work orders and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Maintaining heavy vehicles, collecting parts, and using forklifts or company vehicles as required will also be part of the job.
  • You will test parts, accessories, and equipment to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for tracking tools and equipment, ensuring clean and safe storage.
  • Completing paperwork and records as required is also an essential part of this role.
About You
  • You must have a mechanical mind and an interest in automotive, preferably with experience in heavy vehicle assembly or trades assistance.
  • A safety-first approach, attention to detail, and ability to stay organized are essential qualities for this position.
  • Focused and goal-oriented, you will prioritize tasks and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • You should not be afraid to ask for help when needed, as we recognize the importance of continuous learning.
  • Skills with hand and power tools, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for working in a team environment are highly valued.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and pride in your work and the team's accomplishments are expected.
