The role of a Learning Support Officer is to provide assistance to students with special needs. This involves working collaboratively with teaching staff and students to identify and cater to their individual learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children in their academic endeavors, whether in group or individual settings
  • Participating in meetings with the Program Support Group as required
  • Demonstrated experience in working with students who have autism and other learning and behavioral challenges

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Adhere to established child safety policies and procedures
  • Attend Program Support Group meetings and contribute to the development of programs that support student learning
