Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Support Program:
The Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme is a key initiative for the Australian Government, enabling workers from Pacific Island Countries and Timor-Leste to work in priority sectors.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Public Information Officer to support the general communications and administration requirements of the Pacific Labour Mobility Support Program (PLMSP).
As a key member of our communications team, you will assist with special projects, provide general administration support, and develop client and stakeholder relationships.
The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, with practical editorial and content experience, and a good working knowledge of content production tools.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with special projects, such as process improvements and implementing new communications platforms.
- Provide general administration support to the communications team.
- Develop client and stakeholder relationships, liaising with operations and communications teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as administration, communications, or media.
- Practical editorial and content experience, with demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Good working knowledge of content production tools, including Yammer, SharePoint, and Microsoft suite.
