Port Waratah Coal Services is seeking a skilled professional to lead contract and procurement activities across the business.
About the RoleThis key role involves executing the full tender and contract lifecycle, supporting contract holders, and managing contract performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage contract negotiation, preparation of commercial terms, tender documentation, evaluation, and stakeholder communication.
- Support contract holders in contract management and transition strategies.
- Oversee contract amendments, closure processes, and ensure alignment with business deliverables.
- Maintain and enhance procurement systems for efficient operations.
- Champion continuous improvement in purchasing systems and vendor performance.
- Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation, including contract clauses, minimum 5 –7 years experience.
- Ability to manage high volumes of tenders and contracts in a complex environment.
- Understanding of effective procurement systems and practices.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Formal qualifications in contract management or purchasing will be highly regarded.
