Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontracts Specialist to join our team.

  • This role involves supporting complex supply chain requirements for the sustainment of various programs.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following competencies:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years' work experience in contracts management or procurement;
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in law, business or commerce (desirable);
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills;
  • Good working knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed across contracting and procurement and their interdependencies with other departments and disciplines;
  • A willingness to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with internal stakeholders;
  2. Maintain currency of existing subcontracts including negotiating and implementing complex subcontract variations;
  3. Manage existing subcontracts and promote subcontractor collaboration to ensure on-time performance and compliance;
  4. Develop practical and efficient solutions to complex procurement and subcontracts issues;
  5. Identify and develop appropriate sourcing strategies and approaches to market for goods and services, including software and engineering services;
  6. Prepare, negotiate and execute contract documentation in accordance with delegations of authority;
  7. Manage subcontractor invoicing compliance and reporting;
  8. Participate in risk identification and mitigation planning; and
  9. Ensure compliance with supply chain management corporate governance policies and procedures.
