Job DescriptionThe Clinical Quality Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This permanent part-time position (0.6FTE) offers the opportunity to work full-time by adding Registered Nurse shifts. You will be based in Southern Tasmania and work across both Bishop Davies Court and Barossa Park Lodge.
Key Responsibilities- Support Services prepare for and maintain accreditation standards (ACQSC & NDIS)
- Undertake quality initiatives including continuous improvement and supporting each service to put into practice recommendations from quality reports
- Develop, design, and implement quality clinical initiatives across residential and homecare services to meet all legislation and clinical care standards in the delivery of health and agreed outcomes to our consumers and participants
- Assist services to develop and implement quality systems and continuous improvements plans
- Assist services to use quality data to inform and implement improvements
- Mentor senior clinical staff at all services to strengthen and improve contemporary practice
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reports as required
- Provide advice and training in relation to clinical compliance to meet legislative requirements
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration with no conditions
- Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care (desirable)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to build capability
- Demonstrated experience in management roles within the aged care or health sectors
- Solid understanding of Aged Care and NDIS regulatory framework
- Aged Care nursing experience minimum 3 years
- Working knowledge of AutumnCare or similar electronic care system
- Sound judgment and analytical skills
