Salary Package

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base rate of $30.11 per hour, plus superannuation and salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum.

In addition, we provide a generous mileage allowance of $0.96 per kilometre for travel to client homes.

Job Description

As a Home Care Specialist with BaptistCare, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older people in the Tea Gardens area.

You will be responsible for providing personal care assistance, household support, meal preparation, and transport services to clients in their own homes.

This role requires a high level of empathy, patience, and understanding, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will work independently, using your initiative and judgment to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's licence and reliable motor vehicle
  • A Third-Party Property Damage car insurance policy
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
