About this Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team in the Tea Gardens area.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a caring individual to support older people to live well in their own homes, providing assistance with daily living activities and promoting independence.

About the Role

  • Assist clients with personal care such as showering, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide household cleaning and laundry services
  • Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
  • Offer respite for carers and provide social support
  • Transport clients to appointments and shops
  • Support clients with complex care needs

What We Need from You

You will need to be comfortable working independently, have excellent communication skills, and possess an empathetic and patient nature. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with third-party property damage insurance are also required.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of $30.11, plus superannuation and salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum
  • $0.96 per kilometer for travel to client homes
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities, including a fully-funded traineeship program leading to a Certificate III in Individual Support
