We are seeking a highly qualified expert to lead the redevelopment of courses in economics, econometrics and business statistics.
This is an exciting opportunity for a future-focused academic to shape new programs in Business Analytics and Decision Science, advancing knowledge and real-world outcomes.
As an expert in quantitative economics, you will design and deliver engaging courses, publish in top journals, secure funding, and supervise students to advance knowledge and real-world outcomes. You will also support development, including maintaining accreditation and shaping future directions.
We're looking for someone who brings curiosity to their research, creativity to their teaching, and a genuine commitment to student success. You should be comfortable leading in both the classroom and your discipline, and bring a collaborative spirit that helps lift those around you.
- PhD in quantitative economics, econometrics or a related field, with a strong focus on applying advanced analytics to real-world problems.
- Proficiency with statistical and analytical tools such as Python, R, Stata or SAS, and experience with cloud-based platforms and visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Expertise in advanced quantitative methods, including econometrics, causal inference, data science or machine learning, applied in complex, data-rich contexts.
- Experience designing curriculum that makes quantitative content accessible, engaging and relevant for diverse business students.
