Job Title: Workers Compensation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Workers Compensation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workers compensation claims from initial notification to closure, ensuring timely and appropriate claims management.

The role involves processing medical certificates, calculating, paying and reimbursing workers compensation weekly benefits, conducting active and ongoing claim assessments, and liaising with various stakeholders, including claimants, supervisors, managers, solicitors, investigators and treatment providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workers compensation claims from initial notification to closure
  • Process medical certificates and calculate, pay and re-imburse workers compensation weekly benefits
  • Conduct active and ongoing claim assessments to ensure timely and appropriate claims management
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including claimants, supervisors, managers, solicitors, investigators and treatment providers
