As a member of the Maintenance division, you will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position entails executing mechanical duties to guarantee the peak performance of all operational equipment.

Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including installation, monitoring, machine configuration, site upkeep, adjustments, emergency repairs, and optimizing the productivity of site machinery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Follow the maintenance schedule to ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities are consistently maintained.
  • Oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the workspace along with routine equipment maintenance.
  • Meticulously document and complete all maintenance activities according to the work plan.
  • Quickly report incidents and actively participate in analysis and investigations.
  • Build strong partnerships with Operational teams.
  • Carry out all fitting and assembly tasks to meet established quality benchmarks.
  • Prepare equipment for inspections, loading, cleaning, and refurbishment.
  • Maintain a safe and productive workshop environment.
  • Conduct welding operations on various materials.
  • Assemble and refurbish mechanical components and equipment.
  • Adhere to applicable OHS/WHS regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess an Australian recognized trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Australian citizenship or full working rights are essential.
  • A valid manual driver's license is required.
  • Previous experience in the heavy machinery industry is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment is advantageous.

Selected candidates will be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing along with a medical assessment. Recent work references and proof of Australian work rights will be necessary.
