The Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Educator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in Darwin. As a key member of our Regional Office, you will be responsible for supporting direct care staff to build capacity and deliver safe, knowledge-based care using various educational tools and development methods.

  • Develop and implement education and training programs to enhance clinical and care practices.
  • Foster a consumer-focused learning culture that promotes innovation and has a contemporary knowledge base supported by evidence.
  • Mentor and support a proactive care workforce team receptive to changing models of care and clinical practice.

This role is ideal for a skilled RN looking to move direction in their career and provide education and mentoring to current RNs across our facilities. You will be passionate about ensuring care is provided by a skilled workforce and comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Nursing and current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience as a preceptor/mentor/coach with the ability to use contemporary education and teaching methods to develop and motivate staff.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
Compliance Requirements

All ARRCS employees must meet certain compliance requirements, which include:

  • National Police Check.
  • Current Influenza Vaccination.
  • NDIS Screening check or proof of application.
