Job Description

As a mechanical designer, you will play a crucial role in creating technical drawings and 3D models for our conveyor systems. This involves determining factors such as tolerances, dimensioning, weldability, and ease of assembly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create technical drawings at all levels, including layouts, arrangements, assemblies, and details
  • Determine factors such as tolerances, dimensioning, weldability, and ease of assembly
  • Design and detail using input from engineers and senior designers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in a design role or related field
  • Bulk Material Handling or Heavy Industrial/Mining Industry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
