Volunteer Opportunity: Assisting Allied Health Therapy Teams

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to collaborate with our allied health therapy teams, working closely with children and adults in our sports program. This role presents an exceptional chance for individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of people with cerebral palsy and similar conditions, while also gaining valuable skills and experience.

This opportunity is open to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with disability, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and the LGBTQIA+ community. We value inclusivity and strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support CPA staff and clients in delivering the group sessions.
  • Assist with sport sessions such as basketball, athletics, and soccer.
Schedule and Logistics:
  • Basketball sessions will take place after school on selected days.
  • Athletics and soccer sessions will be scheduled accordingly.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be 16 years or older.
  • NDIS Worker Screening is mandatory.
  • Working with Children Check NSW and Working with Vulnerable People ACT clearances are required.
