Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at Macro Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing services and repairs of transport refrigeration systems for food trucks, buses, and modular trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing On-Site Breakdown Service and Maintenance: You will be responsible for performing on-site breakdown service and maintenance for refrigerated units, ensuring timely completion and minimal downtime for our clients.
  • Installing Refrigeration Units: Based on your experience, you may be required to install refrigeration units, working closely with our team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Executing Service Plans: You will be responsible for executing service plans, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed to the highest standard and within the agreed timeframe.
  • Working in a Fully Equipped Workshop: You will work in a fully equipped workshop with all necessary tools and parts, ensuring that you have everything you need to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Managing Service Calls: You will be responsible for managing service calls, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and that our clients are satisfied with the service provided.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualification in Refrigeration: You will need to have a relevant qualification in refrigeration, demonstrating your expertise and knowledge in this field.
  • Experience Servicing Intermodal Units: You will need to have experience servicing intermodal units, with a strong understanding of the systems and equipment involved.
  • Strong Physical Fitness: You will need to be physically fit, able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy equipment as required.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Within a Team: You will need to be able to work independently, as well as within a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resident Work Rights: You will need to have resident work rights, ensuring that you are eligible to work in Australia.
