Drive Operational Excellence in Luxury Retail

This pivotal leadership role is responsible for enhancing efficiency and consistency through process management, leading change for new systems and strategies, and overseeing the successful implementation and optimization of critical retail systems like POS and ERP.

The Head of Retail Operations will play a key role in shaping the future of our luxury brand, driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence to boost profitability and customer satisfaction within the retail division.

  • Process Management: Analyze, streamline, and document comprehensive operational workflows to significantly enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability across all retail touchpoints.
  • Change Management: Lead and champion smooth transitions for all new systems, processes, and retail strategies.
  • System Implementation & Optimization: Oversee the successful implementation and continuous optimization of critical retail systems, including Point of Sale (POS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and effectively manage operational expenditure (Opex) budgets to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and oversee proactive store maintenance programs, coordinating all activities to guarantee retail environments remain fully operational, safe, impeccably presented, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
  • Create seamless omnichannel experiences for clients by optimizing processes related to stock integrity, including accurate stocktake processes, efficient stock transfers, and real-time inventory visibility across all channels.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in driving operational efficiency and standardization within a retail environment.
  • A Diploma-level qualification or Bachelor's equivalent in a related field.
  • Strong technical and systems knowledge ideally - Shopify, Cin7, Omnēo, Acuity, Brauz IQ. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
