The role of Health and Safety Junior Advisor involves supporting safety advisors in various projects across different business areas.
As a key member of our team, you will provide assistance to implement effective management systems, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with contractor requirements.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of contractor certificates and accreditations.
- Review and endorse risk assessments, as well as perform SHEQ evaluations.
- Coordinate employee and contractor onboarding processes, ensuring all necessary inductions are completed.
- Participate in incident investigations, reports, and toolbox meetings to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular site inspections and checks to verify contractor training, competency, and license requirements.
Requirements
- Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS/OHS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective report generation and presentation.
