Role Overview

Fintech Product Development Specialist

This is a key role in developing innovative fintech products that transform the way the world pays, banks, and invests. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping software development and operations processes, quality practices, quality audits, and software measurements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of individual deliverables by reviewing functional and design specifications.
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design a comprehensive test coverage plan.
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets, and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
  • Perform usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Provide internal quality assurance.
  • Organize and maintain the test script library.
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
  • Collaborate with technical project managers and other QA analysts to guarantee quality of delivery and ensure all outputs are aligned with key project success metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Test tool knowledge – PaySim, Zephyr, GUI, SOAP UI, Splunk, JIRA, Confluence.
  • Experience testing applications on Mainframe (Inc. Reports).
  • Knowledge of network financial message standards - AS2805 or ISO standards.
  • Transaction switching or Payments Testing experience (EFTPOS).
  • Working knowledge – Connex HP, Data Navigator (DN), IST_ePay, IPP/eftpos Settlement services.
