About the role:

We're working with several leading asset managers and superannuation funds gearing up for major change across their investment platforms - and that includes expanding their Application Support teams to manage and optimise BlackRock Aladdin environments.

We're interested in hearing from candidates with:

  • Experience providing Level 1 - 3 application support for BlackRock Aladdin
  • Exposure to investment operations, trading or funds management environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across front, middle and back office
  • Hands-on troubleshooting, incident response and root cause analysis
  • Order Management System (OMS)
  • Performance and Risk Analytics
  • Data Warehouse / EDM
  • API, file-based or real-time integration troubleshooting
  • Aladdin Workspace and Dashboards

Skill Set:

  • Solid experience with SQL (for querying, investigating data issues)
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and job scheduling tools (e.g. Autosys)
  • Familiarity with SFTP, API logs or ETL workflows
  • Monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, AppDynamics or similar)
  • Understanding of incident, problem and change management processes (e.g. ITIL)
