We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to join our team as a Field Education Coordinator. This role will involve working closely with students, staff and external partners to source and secure field placements for our Master of Social Work program.

The successful applicant will have a strong background in social work, with up to five years experience in a relevant industry setting. They will also possess high-level self-management skills, the ability to efficiently work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet required deadlines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has a strong commitment to delivering quality teaching and unit coordination. The Field Education Coordinator will play a key role in shaping the academic environment of our School and contributing to the development of our students.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field;
  • Up to five years experience in a relevant industry setting;
  • High-level self-management skills and the ability to work independently;
  • Experience in the supervision of social work students on field placements;
  • Knowledge of and strong networks within the health and human services sectors;
  • Capacity to obtain research grants and undertake research.
