This is a key leadership role in our Graduate Research School, responsible for delivering end-to-end services across the Higher Degree Research lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with supervisory teams to support academic excellence and contribute to our research strategy.

As Associate Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of services across the Higher Degree Research lifecycle, from admissions and scholarships to candidature management and examination.

You will lead a team of professionals who are committed to delivering a seamless, client-focused HDR experience to candidates and supervisors. Your expertise in Higher Degree Research policy, funding, systems, and national/international research trends will be invaluable in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in Higher Degree Research management. You will also need to have outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
