ACM Recruitment Pty Ltd is representing a prestigious private rehabilitation center seeking multiple Psychologists or Clinical Psychologists to manage a diverse caseload as permanent staff members.
Position Overview:
- Conduct individual, group, and community therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, family therapy, and other evidence-based practices.
- Provide clinical counseling services to patients and clients within a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
- Actively participate as a vital team member, focusing on delivering psychological counseling services and implementing effective treatment programs.
- Coordinate support for patients and clients, including wellness initiatives, case management, and family assistance.
- Facilitate clinical intake assessments for individuals seeking admission to various treatment modalities, including residential and telehealth services.
- Uphold the ethical standards set by the Australian Psychological Society and adhere to AHPRA registration requirements, including maintaining professional insurances and engaging in ongoing professional development.
- This role demands flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to establish boundaries while striving for excellence in supporting individuals with health and wellness challenges, including recovery from addiction and mental health disorders.
- Perform psychological assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions.
- Stay informed about contemporary approaches to clinical counseling, addiction recovery, and mental health treatment.
Key Requirements:
- Availability for part-time or full-time work, with options for 2 to 5 days per week.
- Full registration with the Australian Psychology Board and AHPRA.
- Possession of professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
- A valid driver's license (C class - car).
