Clinical Care Specialist

At Healthscope, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Rehab ward team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be accountable for providing safe and holistic care to individuals and their families. Your exceptional clinical skills, combined with strong communication and customer service abilities, will enable you to deliver exceptional person-centred care.
Responsibilities:- Apply clinical and workplace risk management principles to ensure a safe environment.
- Deliver sound clinical practice, promoting optimal patient health and well-being.
- Effectively communicate patient responses to treatment and nursing care.
- Collaborate with other health professionals to achieve optimum patient care.
- Allocate staff and delegate work effectively, utilising communication skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Exercise authority through informed decision-making.
- Provide customer service principles to exceed customer expectations.
- Undertake other duties as required, consistent with the position's scope and any legal or industrial obligations.
Sunnybank Private Hospital has been providing care to our local community for over 40 years. Selection Criteria:- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Experience in Acute Rehab/Medical/Geriatric settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A commitment to high standards of clinical and customer-focused care.
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment and develop partnerships with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs).
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
- Specialty qualifications in Rehabilitation nursing or working towards same.
