Sexual Assault Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate counsellor to join our team in providing trauma-informed therapeutic services to individuals and families affected by sexual assault.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver confidential face-to-face and telephone counselling to clients impacted by sexual violence.
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and provide information about available services, supports, and options.
- Collaborate with other organisations to ensure clients receive necessary assistance.
- Support victims through legal and medical processes.
- Perform urgent risk assessments to guarantee safety for clients and their families.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or counselling, with registration (AHPRA or equivalent).
- Possess minimum three years of practice experience.
- Participate in the after-hours roster approximately six times per year.
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa.
- Hold a Current Working with Vulnerable People Card.
- Have a Clear National Police Certificate.
