About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Coordinator, RTO Quality to join the Education team at Deaf Connect. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of quality management are up to date across the RTO, ensuring compliance with ASQA's Standards for RTOs 2015 and quality standards under ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the RTO's compliance framework to ensure adherence to the Standards for RTO's 2015 and the AQTF.
  • Ensure compliance against the key phases of the student experience, including marketing, enrolment, student progression, training and assessment, and completions.
  • Support with maintenance of RTO scope of registration, including qualification updates, extensions of scope, and funding applications.
  • Review and update current policies, procedures, and work instructions across all aspects of RTO operations to ensure compliance against ASQA Standards for RTOs, 2015.
  • Deliver professional development sessions to trainers and administration staff to enhance the capabilities in the RTO.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience working in an RTO, overseeing and coordinating quality activities, including policy reviews, schedules, validation, and moderation activities. You should have a strong understanding of legislative requirements for a Registered Training Organisation and experience in the delivery of educational material. You should also have high-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, liaise, consult, and engage with key stakeholders and partnerships.

You should be proficient in Microsoft suite and have a high level of computer skills, including document formatting and the ability to navigate various systems and platforms. Experience with Student Management Systems is also desirable.

Auslan skills or a willingness to learn are also highly regarded. Knowledge of the Deaf community, language, and culture is also an advantage.
