Sanitation and Quality Assurance Coordinator

The Sanitation and Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our manufacturing plant. Working closely with our Operations and Contracted Cleaning teams, you will ensure that our facility meets the required sanitation standards.
This role is part of a team that takes pride in producing well-loved breakfast cereals in Australia. You will work on a roster on day shift, with occasional weekend work required.
A Day in the Life:
- Accountable for ensuring our manufacturing facility meets the required sanitation standards through cleaning validations, development and compliance with sanitation checklists, review & management of chemical use
- Review of the facility master sanitation schedule and assigned staffing for both our packing and processing lines to ensure adherence to standards
- Pest reviews
- Provide support to the operations team by ensuring all elements of the quality assurance daily KPI's are adhered to on a shift-by-shift basis
- Continue to embed our lean manufacturing practices across all Supply Chain functions
Your Skills:
- Degree qualified in Food Science/Technology or related discipline
- Previous experience in either a quality assurance, food safety or production roles is ideal gained from a food manufacturing environment
- A sound understanding of sanitation and housekeeping standards
- High level attention to detail
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills – at all levels
- Influencing skills – you will be working with a range of people and need to ensure they are onboard with the importance of the requirements you are upholding
