About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding residential and commercial installer and servicing provider of quality air conditioning and HVAC units, is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Air Conditioning Senior Service Technician to join their team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely at heights. They will be responsible for providing a high standard of customer service, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring delivery of all services in accordance with contractual and manufacturers' requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients from first contact to installation completion.
  • Share knowledge and technical support with on-site employees and team members to ensure they provide services that meet project timelines and customer expectations.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and completion of all paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Assist in building out the service delivery team.
Requirements

Qualifications & Licences

  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning or Electrotechnology (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning).
  • Current RAC01 Refrigerant Handling Licence.
  • Construction Industry White Card (Mandatory).
  • Tradesperson Certificate (Highly Regarded).
  • Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Skills & Experience

  • Possession of 3+ years HVAC installation experience.
  • Able to distinguish between various HVAC equipment and have experience of servicing and maintaining various types and brands of HVAC units.
  • A sound understanding of WHS systems and processes with a safety-first approach to all worksites.
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal, excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Honest and reliable self-motivated individual with ability to follow instructions and work alone, as well as work effectively within a team.
  • Must be physically fit and able to work safely at heights when required.
