Air Conditioning Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team at 11 Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in commercial and domestic settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including split systems, ducted systems, and central air conditioning units.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot issues in HVAC systems, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Design and layout air conditioning systems in accordance with clients' requirements and industry standards.
- Follow plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute installation tasks efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with local building regulations and safety codes during all installation and maintenance work.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to clients regarding system operations, maintenance schedules, and energy efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and service reports.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver seamless projects on time.
- Certificate III in a closely related field, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years as an Air Conditioning Mechanic, with a focus on both commercial and domestic systems.
- Familiarity with electrical components and systems within air conditioning units.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
The role offers a remuneration package of $73,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
