About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our team at The University of Western Australia. As a key member of our Regional Training Hubs team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our Integrated Rural Training Pipeline (IRTP) program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior administrative support to the Regional Training Hub Lead and other team members
  • Work closely with staff on the IRTP to develop plans to improve support for rurally intended students and junior doctors
  • Collaborate with academic staff and other relevant stakeholders to achieve program goals
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including rural bonded scholars and supervisors
  • Contribute to the development of reports and other documentation to support program evaluation and improvement

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
  • Substantial relevant senior administrative experience at an appropriate level
  • Highly developed written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, and email
