About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing expert care and support to individuals and families affected by drug and alcohol use.

This challenging yet fulfilling role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of others while contributing to a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and support services to patients with complex drug and alcohol needs.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans, as well as providing education and support to patients and their carers.

In this role, you will also contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in drug and alcohol nursing practice, with at least 3 years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications and certifications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
