Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in promoting best practice and contributing to quality healthcare.
">About the Role
">This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with the Melanoma Institute of Australia to promote best practice and contribute to quality healthcare by collaborating with health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes within the melanoma care spectrum.
">Your Key Responsibilities

- Work in partnership with the Melanoma Institute of Australia (MIA) to promote best practice and contribute to quality healthcare by collaborating with health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes within the melanoma care spectrum.">
- Coordinate care to ensure continuity across the Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgical and Supportive Palliative Care services, and facilitate patient and carer support in the community and in supportive/palliative settings.">
- Lead and promote evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, research, and professional leadership within the Melanoma care setting.">
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate tailored care management plans that improve melanoma patient outcomes.">
What You Need To Succeed
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
">- ">
- A current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.">
- At least 5 years FTE post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in the specialty field.">
- Post-graduate nursing qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience as deemed appropriate by the organisation.">
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and knowledge of clinical practice advances and research in melanoma care.">
- Strong communication skills to engage with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams; ability to identify and respond to care needs.">
- Professional, personable approach with conflict resolution skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.">
- Demonstrated critical thinking and delivery of advanced evidence-based nursing care.">
- Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).">
