About the Role

This exciting role offers the opportunity to utilize your experience in Defence and contribute to the safety and security of personnel on base. As a Security Officer, you will provide customer service of the highest quality through your proactive, professional, and sound approach. Key responsibilities include:

  • Observing activities associated with asset protection
  • Monitoring CCTV footage and radio communication systems
  • Providing first aid and liaising with emergency services
  • Reviewing camera footage and writing reports
  • Conducting foot patrols throughout the premises

Requirements

  • Certificate II in Security Operations and security license
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Open driver's license
  • Dedication, reliability, and commitment to security
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High standards of presentation and grooming
  • High-level computer literacy skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
  • Australian Government Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
