About the Role

Remote Staff is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing level 3 support, troubleshooting and maintaining Azure virtual desktops, as well as ensuring backups are completed successfully on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Azure virtual desktops, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor servers and networks, logging and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure backups are completed successfully daily, logging and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Maintain day-to-day change control processes, coordinating with customers and other staff members as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical customer support, with a focus on level 2-3 engineering.
  • Proficient in Office365 and Azure/Microsoft certifications.
  • Well-versed in IT/cyber security, network experience, and FortiGate troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, change management, and backup software.
