To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services).
- Proven experience in program development and a passion for delivering quality childcare services.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- A valid First Aid and CPR certification, or the willingness to obtain one.
- A current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain one.
We offer a dynamic work environment where staff can grow and develop their careers. Our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before and after school, as well as during holidays, across multiple school sites in South East Queensland.
About Your WorkplaceYou will be working within a well-established OSHC service located inside Seven Hills State School, licensed for up to 180 children. We provide Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care from 6:30am to 6:00pm. Our service boasts a strong relationship with the school, allowing us access to various areas for our licensed spaces. Our Educational Leader takes pride in developing engaging programs tailored to the interests of our children, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages their growth and development. Staff take pride in building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
