Lead Credit Risk Specialist

The objective of this role is to update the bank's existing large exposure framework to align with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with credit risk management frameworks.
- Represent Credit Risk as a Subject Matter Expert and facilitate decision making by providing high quality advice to stakeholders.
- Review and sign off on Project documents, including Business Cases, Business Requirements, Business Processes, Design, Testing and Implementation.
- Ensure policies and processes are aligned with approved business strategy and risk appetite.
- Provide assistance to identify relevant controls to meet regulatory obligations.
- Attend project working group meetings and contribute required inputs.
- 10 years' experience in Banking / Financial Services Industry with proven track record in Credit Decisioning and Policy Writing.
- Knowledge of legal, compliance and regulatory framework.
- Proven ability in delivering strategic plans to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Skills in organising, project management, effective problem solving and decision making.
- People management, training and coaching skills.
