Job Description

A skilled Freedom of Information Officer is required to process FOI requests, maintain the CMTEDD FOI database and ensure records management requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Public Administration, Law or related discipline, as well as understanding of records management principles and proficiency in EDRMS and Microsoft Excel.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Process FOI requests from end-to-end.
  • Maintain the FOI database and ensure records management requirements are met.
  • Meet FOI publication requirements and adhere to confidentiality protocols.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Public Administration, Law or related discipline.
  • Understanding of records management principles and proficiency in EDRMS and Microsoft Excel.

  • Administrative and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to cultivate productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
