About Your Role:

This specialist position involves providing system support to field service technicians in maintenance activities. You will assist in complex fault diagnoses during maintenance and repair operations at customer sites and RAN platforms, ensuring optimal equipment performance.

The role is based on-site at Rockingham, Western Australia, offering a permanent opportunity with a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aiding engineers and technical staff in developing new solutions and preparing installation and test documentation.
  • Developing training solutions and providing training sessions for the field service teams.
  • Leading short maintenance activities safely and efficiently, ensuring all pre-requisite and follow-up actions are completed.
  • Substituting the role of a maintenance supervisor during resource shortages or absences.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in electronic engineering or equivalent, plus at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Certificate or training in information technology (networking) is desirable.
  • Experience in fault finding, including analysis and documentation of process and results.
  • Previous experience working within a defence or defence industry environment is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Must be an Australian citizen and eligible for NV1 Defence Security Clearance.

Due to the requirement for a Defence security clearance, applicants must meet the specified eligibility criteria.
