Electrical Engineer Role

We are a global consultancy prioritizing sustainability in our work. Our team has been recognized for designing innovative and sustainable projects with a goal to achieve zero carbon design by 2030.

Our Building Services teams aim to make buildings more energy efficient cost-effective and sustainable. We're looking for graduates who share our passion for sustainability and can contribute to designing energy-efficient buildings and communities.

Working across various industry sectors our Building Services engineers provide world-leading expertise in producing innovative and award-winning sustainable engineering solutions. In this role you'll join a team that specializes in designing construction projects in Australia and worldwide.

You'll work closely with colleagues across our multi-disciplinary practice providing specialist consultancy input on projects across education healthcare workplace retail and critical systems sectors. Under the guidance of experienced engineers you'll undertake detailed electrical building services engineering design and analysis defining clients' needs into designs for buildings facilities and services.

This role offers opportunities for professional growth and development including accredited programs from CIBSE and IET supporting you towards achieving chartership.

The Required Skills
  • Accredited or working towards an MEng degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering passionate about innovative and sustainable electrical engineering.
  • Familiarity with digital engineering Parametric Modelling Techniques (Grasshopper or Dynamo) or modern programming languages (e.g. Python C# VB).
  • Understanding of Engineering Optimisation Techniques structured programming principles and basic Machine Learning knowledge is desirable.

Able to manage tasks and priorities meet deadlines and appreciate commercial factors affecting design solutions. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders.
