Job Description

This is a senior position within the team responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and delivery of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs. The role ensures CPD program alignment with member and participant needs, maintains regulatory compliance, and delivers measurable value by supporting lifelong learning and professional excellence.

The successful candidate will lead the CPD program strategy, development, delivery, and support, communicating this clearly across the portfolio and division. They will ensure regulatory and compliance alignment of the program, anticipate future needs, and seize opportunities as a CPD home.

The role requires effective management of resources, financials, and stakeholders, including building and nurturing important relationships for existing operations and future growth, internally and externally.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as adult education, medical education, or professional development.
  • Experience working with online learning programs and micro-learning.
  • Minimum five years of project or program management experience, preferably in a health, higher education, or not-for-profit organization within technology-driven environments.
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to make complex judgments, find creative solutions while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Highly developed negotiation, influencing, and people and stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • High-level oral and written communication skills, including policy/process documentation and fluent, concise, and accurate report writing.
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, monitoring, and reaching predicted outcomes in line with strategic and business plans.
