About the Role

The Royal Flying Doctor Service, Victoria, is seeking a skilled Patient Transport Officer to join our team in Warrnambool. As a key member of our Mobile Patient Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to individuals in rural and remote areas of Victoria and New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road
  • Provide exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
  • Assess the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations

Requirements

  • Qualified as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) with a minimum of a Cert III in Non-emergency Patient Care
  • Experience working in the NEPT sector is desirable but not essential
  • Hold a FULL Victorian Drivers licence and have a satisfactory driving history report
  • Availability to work shifts across a 7-day roster
