Strategic Financial Liaison

The Finance Director plays a pivotal role as a strategic liaison between Commercial Finance, Group Finance, and the local market team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic financial insight and guidance to inform key decisions on growth, profitability, and business performance.
  • Support external sales and manage relationships with external partners.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for the APAC market, collaborating with Capability FBP's.
  • Engage with delivery heads, market leads, and FBP's on forecasting and planning for optimization.
  • Embed commercial insight within the local team, providing accurate weekly updates.
  • Assess investment opportunities and work with the leadership team to optimize post-investment appraisal.
  • Support the GCF team with ad-hoc special projects and develop planning models to evaluate future performance.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA).
  • Financial leadership experience.
  • Proven expertise in financial control, financial modeling, business partnering, and strategic decision support.
  • Strong financial acumen, with skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate at various levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software.
  • Desirable experience in Workday, Salesforce, and other financial tools.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
