We are seeking a senior civil engineer to lead projects in the Geelong region, shaping iconic infrastructure and development.

This role offers an opportunity for a professional with strong local connections and a passion for delivering projects that positively impact the community.

As a leader within our Community Development Group, you will represent us externally, building relationships with clients while providing clear direction and support to project teams.

The role involves working across diverse Victorian projects, including land development, subdivisions, commercial buildings, and public infrastructure, contributing to the growth and vibrancy of the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, mentor junior engineers, and foster technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Build client relationships through proactive communication, quality service delivery, and strategic advocacy on project scope, timelines, and fees.
  • Oversee successful execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring technical quality, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide advanced technical input, manage risk, and deliver innovative solutions across complex civil engineering projects.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Ideal experience: 7 years.
  • CPEng and RPEQ qualifications are mandatory.
  • Previous leadership experience in civil projects, including stormwater/roads, land development, and councils.
  • Ability to deliver and manage stakeholders in a complex environment, be accountable for client satisfaction by supporting the project team.
  • Commercial acumen in managing resources and budgets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in time management and organisational skills, including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively.
