We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health, Safety and Environment Lead to join our team at Asahi Beverages.
Job DescriptionThis is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned EHS professional to lead the development and implementation of local EHS procedures and national EHS requirements. You will be responsible for driving EHS incident and risk management processes through coaching and support to ensure timely reporting, recording, investigation, closing of corrective actions and sharing of learnings within the business.
You will oversee compliance with EHS standards (AS45001, ISO14001) and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This includes conducting internal and external audits, supporting the site to implement corrective actions and collaborating with site leadership and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and effective issue resolution.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have strong relationship management skills, resilience, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory and operational landscapes. You will also possess formal qualifications in Health and Safety (Diploma or higher preferred), proven experience in EHS roles within medium to large organizations, ideally in FMCG or construction.
You will bring expertise in compliance and safety management systems, including AS45001 and ISO14001. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will enable you to influence and manage diverse stakeholders, while your facilitation, change management and organizational agility will drive cultural change within the workforce.
Additionally, you will have experience with return to work and injury management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of local EHS procedures and the implementation of national EHS requirements.
- Drive EHS incident and risk management processes through coaching and support.
- Oversee compliance with EHS standards (AS45001, ISO14001).
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with site leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Deliver training programs to build safety awareness and drive cultural change.
- Act as the point of contact for day-to-day safety and compliance matters.
A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan and generous annual leave allowance.
