About the Position

We require a teacher who can provide quality education and care for students at Mater Dei Catholic College, supporting the Principal with the educational mission of the College community.

The work of the teacher is consistent with the Diocese of Wagga and College Mission and priorities.

Selection Criteria
  1. An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
  2. Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner
  3. Appropriate qualifications and experience in the position advertised
  4. An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy
  5. An informed understanding of the role of formative and summative assessment in providing feedback that advances student learning
  6. An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture
  7. Knowledge of relevant Curriculum Documentation
  8. Ability to teach another subject
  9. NESA Accreditation
  10. Working with Children Check
  11. Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B)
