About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at Industrial Light & Magic. As a Production Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our productions, working closely with our artists, supervisors, and producers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate scheduling, communication, and coordination for a department of artists on a show
  • Work closely with discipline supervisors and/or leads in crewing, casting, and scheduling
  • Establish a process for communicating discipline targets, assignments, and priorities to artist crew
  • Schedule, track, and manage assigned work within the ILM Internal Tracking Tool
  • Ensure work is on schedule for each department and meets internal and client deadlines
  • Communicate with artists on a regular basis regarding workload, targets, and needs
  • Set up turnovers with department crew and communicate turnover information to all assigned artists
  • Track client needs, reviews, and deliveries to ensure department hits targets
  • Serve as key communication liaison between all parties relevant to your work
  • Anticipate and communicate issues to leadership teams to reach solutions in a timely manner
  • Supervise, delegate to, and train assigned Production Assistant
  • Act as primary point person for organizing dailies/shot reviews throughout the day
  • Prioritize and escalate technical support issues
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and handle a variety of tasks in an efficient manner
  • Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to all situations
  • Collaborative and respectful team dynamic
  • Proficiency in Macs/PCs, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree in Film, Art, or Communications or equivalent experience
