We are currently seeking a seasoned Production Coordinator to oversee our production process.

This role will involve working closely with the Production Manager to ensure seamless execution of work contracts and timely completion.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Production Manager in overseeing work contracts and ensuring timely completion.
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with job cards and vehicle manufacturers standards.
  • Managing sublet contracts and organizing appointments for various services including 4WD accessories, mechanical repairs, wheel alignments, and more.
  • Liaising with customers, insurance representatives, and trade staff to facilitate efficient communication and resolution of issues.
  • Conducting precise quality inspections to ensure job cards have been followed correctly and detecting any faults or failures in repairs, paint, and fit up.

Additional Duties:

  • Photographing damage repaired and ensuring vehicles are cleaned to customer expectations.
  • Ordering required parts for booked work contracts.
  • Attending regular production meetings to provide updates on job progression.
  • Organizing transport and towing of vehicles as needed.
  • Data entry and note recording on insurance portals for future reference.

Requirements:

  • Trade background in panel or paint (or both).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with customers and insurance representatives.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions from the Production Manager and higher management.
  • Current Drivers Licence and ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
