The Role
  • Mix, shape, bake, and finish products in a high-production environment.
  • Collaborate with the Head Baker to improve processes and maintain efficiency.
  • Champion safety and quality standards, training, and leading by example.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues swiftly.
  • Drive innovation and excellence in sourdough production.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organisation standards.
  • Report equipment malfunctions promptly.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-production bakery working with sourdough starters.
  • Formal bakery training is highly regarded.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • A self-motivated work ethic with a focus on achieving production targets.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, AQ systems, and OH&S is preferred.
