As a valued member of our bread production team, you will be responsible for making and baking a variety of artisan gluten-free breads.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in a bakery or production kitchen, with a proven track record of producing high-quality bread products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working 5 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday, 11am-7pm set shifts.
  • Assisting the Head Baker in making our Gluten-free vegan sourdough and brioche bread varieties for retail and wholesale production.
  • Calculating ingredients and timing for products to be baked and ready for packing and distribution.
  • Familiar with using scales, mixers, proofers, bun rounders, dough dividers, and commercial ovens.
  • Keeping track of ingredient levels and advising when stock is low to allow enough time to order more for production supply.
  • Cleaning, dismantling, and storing all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, dishes, tins, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.
  • Completing HACCP paperwork each shift to ensure product and ingredient traceability.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Seeking an energetic team member with at least 3 years of experience working in a Bakery or Production kitchen making and baking bread or someone with Pizza dough/Chef experience.
  • Confident with weighing up ingredients according to recipe, lifting up to 20kg, proofing bread, scoring bread, baking bread, and monitoring oven bake times.
