Strategic Data Leadership Opportunity

The position of Senior Data Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping the development of high-quality intelligence products and outcomes for internal clients and partners.

This leadership role demands close collaboration across the agency to ensure analytic capabilities are effective and outputs align with the mission. The incumbent will lead and manage the Intelligence data analytics capability, undertaking bespoke analytic projects against diverse datasets.

Key responsibilities include developing and procuring new technologies, tools, and methods to generate insights, coordinating efforts across business, information technology, and corporate support areas.

The successful candidate will produce tailored advice and insight to enable teams to deliver successfully against the full range of requirements within the mission.

They will champion enterprise data governance frameworks and policies, embedding accountability for data, including data stewardship and the franchise model.

Work closely with the Chief Data and Analytics Officer to develop and enforce best-practice governance policies tailored to the intelligence context, ensuring data is fit-for-purpose, ethically used, and compliant.

Contribute specialist expertise to support risk assessment processes in the operationalisation of the enterprise AI Policy.
